The 2024 Ram 2500 consists of the Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, Power Wagon, Limited Longhorn, and Limited trimsĀ The standard engine on most trims up to the Power Wagon is a 6.4-liter V8 Heavy-Duty HEMIĀ® engine optimized with a multi-displacement system (MDS), for better fuel economy, able to generate 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. Its maximum payload is 4000 pounds (when properly equipped), and has a maximum towing capacity of 17,730 pounds (when properly equipped). The Limited Longhorn and Limited trims come are powered by a 6.4-liter V8 Heavy-Duty HEMIĀ® engine also optimized with MDS, able to generate 370 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque. The maximum payload for these trims is 3150 pounds (when properly equipped), and the maximum towing capacity is 19,990 pounds (when properly equipped).

Integrated voice command is standard, but only trims that come with Uconnect 5 also have access to Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto, Alexa Built-in (Wi-Fi required), a 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot trial, HD Radio, Ram Connected services with Ram Connect, a SiriusXM Satellite Radio trial subscription, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls. A 4-speaker system is standard on the base trim, but the Big Horn comes with a 6-speaker system, and the rest of the lineup comes equipped with an AlpineĀ® sound system with 9 speakers and a subwoofer, able to upgrade to a 17-speaker Harman KardonĀ® premium surround sound system.
