JeepĀ® is finally going to introduce an all-electric option for Jeepers and new consumers everywhere. With that being said, the automaker is also holding onto its gasoline lineup as long as it can. The 2024 Jeep Wrangler lineup has seven trims ā Sport, Sport S, Willys, Rubicon, Sahara, Rubicon X, and Rubicon 392. Powering the first four trims of the lineup and the Rubicon X trim is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, equipped with stop/start technology for conserving fuel economy, and able to generate 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The Sahara breaks the pattern, powered by the available 2.0L Turbo engine, equipped with stop/start technology, and able to generate 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, and also a possible upgrade for the first four trims. Only the Rubicon 392 trim is powered by the 6.4-liter V8 SRTĀ® HEMIĀ® engine equipped with a multi-displacement system (MDS) for conserving fuel economy, and able to generate a best-in-class horsepower of 470 and best-in-class 470 lb-ft of torque.
Driving and Handling
A six-speed manual transmission is standard for all trims powered by the V6 engine, able to upgrade to an 8-speed automatic transmission, standard for the Sahara and Rubicon 392 trims. The trims with the V6 deliver a combined fuel economy of 25 mpg when equipped with a manual transmission, and 24 mpg when equipped with an automatic transmission. The Sahara delivers a combined fuel economy of 21 mpg, and the Rubicon 392 has a combined fuel economy of 17 mpg.
A Command-TracĀ® part-time 4×4 system is standard on the first three trims, offering a 2.72:1 low range for rock crawling and neutral for available flat towing. Only the Rubicon and Rubicon X trims are equipped with a Rock-Trac heavy-duty part-time 4×4 system, offering a 4:1 low-gear ratio that delivers a Best-in-Class 100:1 crawl ratio, and able to upgrade to a full-time system. A Selec-TracĀ® 4×4 system is available on most trims, and automatically switches to two-wheel drive for continuous traction on snow, ice, rain, or mud.

Exterior Features
A number of features are standard on the 2024 Jeep Wrangler, including heated exterior mirrors, automatic headlamps (past the base trim), front fog lamps (LED past Willys trim), solar control glass, front door tinted glass, tinted windshield glass, windshield with Corning Ā® Gorilla Ā® glass, and can add side steps by Mopar. Past the base trim, automatic high beam headlamp-control, front LED fog lamps, LED tail lamps, and LED premium reflector headlamps become available or standard, depending on the trim.
A rear window wiper/washer is available on the first five trims, standard on the Rubicon X and Rubicon 392 trims. A premium black SunriderĀ® soft top is standard on the first five trims, replaced by a hard top for the Rubicon X and Rubicon 392 trims. Other top options are available throughout the lineup. 17-inch wheels are the standard for the majority of the lineup, replaced by 18-inch wheels on the Sahara trim.
Interior Features
Cloth upholstery is the standard seating trim, changed to Nappa leather in the Rubicon X trim, with McKinley trim available in the Sahara trim. A 6-way manually-adjustable driverās seat with 2-way manually-adjustable lumbar support on the first five trims, replaced with an 8-way automatically-adjustable driverās seat with 4-way automatically-adjustable lumbar support, available on the Rubicon trim. A 4-way manually-adjustable front passenger seat is standard up to the Sahara, replaced by an 8-way automatically-adjustable front passenger seat on the Rubicon X and Rubicon 392.
Heated front seats are available past the trim, standard past the Rubicon. Ambient LED lighting is standard across the lineup, and a 60/40 rear folding seat is standard past the Rubicon (optional add-on). Automatic temperature control is available on the Sport S and Willys trim, standard on the rest of the lineup. A heated steering wheel is available up to the Rubicon trim, standard on the rest of the lineup.

Across the lineup, a 12.3-inch touchscreen display is standard, plus a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto capability, hands-free phone and audio commands, Jeep connected services (with trial), SiriusXM 360L (with trial), SiriusXM Satellite Radio (with trial), and steering wheel-mounted audio controls. HD Radio and integrated voice command become available on the Rubicon trim, standard on the Rubicon X and Rubicon 392 trims. Uconnect 5 is standard on the first five trims, Uconnect 5 NAV on the Rubicon X and Rubicon 392 trims. An 8-speaker sound system is standard, replaced by an AlpineĀ® premium audio system on the Rubicon X and Rubicon 392 trims, available on the Rubicon trim.
Safety Features and Warranty
The 2024 Jeep Wrangler comes with many basic safety features, such as multistage advanced airbags, traction and stability controls, a Sentry Key theft deterrent system, and a ParkView rear backup camera (not on the Rubicon 392 trim). Full-speed forward-collision warning plus is standard past the Willys trim, and a ParkSenseĀ® rear park-assist system and Blind-spot and Cross-path detection are available past the Sport trim, standard on the Rubicon X and Rubicon 392 trims. Adaptive cruise control is available on all trims (standard on the Sahara and Rubicon 392 trims).
