2020 Dodge Grand Caravan
The Dodge Grand Caravan is a minivan from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) that has served soccer moms and family men for many years. Some of us may have very fond memories of school days in the van. With many decades past, the Grand Caravan is finally exiting the stage. With production extended until August 2020, this is the last time to get a Dodge Grand Caravan.
Avail. Fuel Economy

With only three trims left in the lineup – SE, SE Plus, and SXT. The Grand Caravan is powered by one powertrain. It’s the Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 engine, able to generate 283 horsepower, optimized with variable valve training (VVT) technology.
Driving and Handling
The engine is paired to a six-speed automatic transmission and the minivan comes with a front-wheel drivetrain. Larger vehicles tend to lose in fuel economy, but minivans found a good medium with the many trips they make. The 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan has a fuel economy of 17/25 mpg city/highway.
For 2020, an optional Blacktop package has been made available for the SE Plus and SXT trims. Able to add a sportier, more aggressive look to the Caravan, this package helps to separate these two trims from the base. Automatic headlamps, door sill guards made by Mopar, and splash guards by Mopar can also be found on these trims. Standard across the lineup is a sliding driver and passenger-side door with fixed glass, heated exterior mirrors, a rear window wiper, side roof rails, and integrated roof rail crossbars.
The interior of the 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan has also received some upgrades. A second-row Super Stow ‘n Go bucket seats and in-floor storage bin, power eight-way driver seat, and an all-black interior has been installed into the SE Plus trim. Many standard features return, including Stow ‘n Go second and third-row bench seating (second row only for SE and SE Plus, third row for SXT), triple-zone manual temperature control, sunscreen glass, and easy clean floor mats. The Blacktop package adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel with silver accent stitching, a leather shift knob, and splits the second row from a bench seat into two bucket seats.
Tech options are simple for the last model year of the Dodge Grand Caravan, with a six-speaker sound system, a 6.5-inch touchscreen display powering Radio 430, and steering wheel-mounted controls all standard. Consumers can get some upgrades with the SE Plus and SXT trims offering Bluetooth streaming audio and Uconnect voice command with Bluetooth. The base trim, SE, has the option to get the same upgrades. An available lineup option is a second row overhead 90-inch VGA video screen, a second-row overhead DVD console, or single DVD entertainment center. Wireless headphones can be also be added to enhance entertainment value.
Safety Features and Warranty
Many standard safety features can be found on the 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan, including advanced multistage front airbags with a driver’s knee airbag, supplemental front seat-mounted and side-curtain airbags in all rows, stability and traction control systems, a LATCH ready child seat anchor system, and a ParkView rear backup camera. Consumers can also get a remote start system and security alarm on the Grand Caravan SE Plus and SXT trims.
All Dodge vehicles are covered by a 3-year/36,000-mile basic warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain, and roadside assistance for 5 years or 100,000 miles.
